About the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)

Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) is committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of nonpublic personal information in compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Federal Trade Commission’s Safeguards Rule, and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

As a Title IV institution that collects, processes, and stores student financial information, CNM maintains a comprehensive Information Security Program. This program includes administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of student records, protect against anticipated security threats, and prevent unauthorized access or use that could result in harm or inconvenience to students.
