In this program you will study the results of quantitative and logical reasoning and learn about career opportunities and pathways in Mathematics and related fields from the Mathematical Association of America.
The two-year program is designed to meet your requirements for an Associate of Science in Mathematics and prepare you to obtain a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of New Mexico. However, if you are seeking a baccalaureate degree you may also transfer to other institutions. If you are interested in transfer to UNM, you should consult the UNM Department of Mathematics and Statistics at (505) 277-0697. You should always refer to the catalog of your intended transfer institution for admission, program, course, and graduation requirements. College catalogs are generally available online. You should also consult a faculty advisor and the CNM Academic Advising Center.
