Description

The Fine Arts program offers low-cost, high-quality art and art history courses to teens, adults and seniors. Courses are designed to acquaint you with a range of visual arts, including elements of drawing and design, portraiture and printmaking, ceramics and clay, jewelry and small metal, photography and digital art. You'll also learn about the important role that art and architecture play in society. You'll build a portfolio, earn your Associates Degree in Fine Arts, and set yourself up for a solid career like the artists featured below. *Hero Image: Self-Portrait, Jennifer Woehrle; graduated with honors, AA Fine Art, Studio Art concentration, 2019; featured on the cover of CNM’s art and literature magazine Leonardo; CNM Site scholar, 2019; co-chosen to receive the Ernest Garcia art scholarship in the spring of 2019; accepted into and awarded a merit-based scholarship worth $12,000 at the top public art school in the United States, Virginia Commonwealth University.
