The Electric Vehicle (EV) Technology program at CNM focuses on providing you with the skills and knowledge needed to build a career in the rapidly growing electric vehicle sector. Our experienced instructors and strong community partnerships will help you learn how to properly service EVs, preparing you to earn your ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) xEV certification and ASE A-6 Electrical and Electronics certification.
Our comprehensive electric vehicle training program includes courses on EV fundamentals, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and hybrid vehicles (HEVs), along with essential instruction in vehicle deactivation and reactivation, OSHA regulations, and personal protective equipment. As an EV Technology program graduate, you can pursue roles such as EV Service Technician, Hybrid Vehicle Technician, EV Fleet Service Technician, and more.
