CNAs work in hospitals, long-term care centers, private homes, and rehabilitation centers.

Program Re-entry

NA 1020, NA 1093 & NA 1190 courses are co-requisites of each other and successive. Students that withdraw, drop, or do not pass NA 1020 or NA 1093 with a letter grade of C or better, will be dropped from the NA 1190 course and will not be eligible to complete the program during the current term. Students may re-enter the program during the successive term with override approval from the instructor and/or Program Director to retake NA 1020 or NA 1093 courses in the successive term only.

A student that withdraws, drops, or does not pass NA 1190 with a letter grade of C or better, or has an illness/injury that results in absences greater than 8 hours, will be considered for clinical progression during the successive term only. This re-entry process will only be considered for students that are continuously enrolled in the NA courses and have met all requirements.
