Tuition and Other Costs of Attending CNM
Tuition — tuition rates are based on the student's residency status, where the student lives and how many credit hours are taken. Students eligible for New Mexico resident status qualify for in-district tuition if they live within the CNM District. Resident students living in New Mexico, but outside the CNM District, qualify for out-of-district tuition. Here's more information on residency. CNM also offers a senior citizen discount.
Paying for Classes — the CNM Cashier's Office receives payments and offers payment plans split up into installments.
College and Course Fees
Fees — there is a registration fee and a technology fee that all students are required to pay each term. Some programs or courses that require special tools or equipment may also require a fee.
Financial Aid and Scholarships — the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarship Services provides assistance to students who need help paying for college expenses.
Books — students can rent or purchase textbooks at the CNM Bookstore or order them online through the CNM Bookstore website. Cost for books depends on your class schedule.
Parking — free general parking is available in some lots at Main Campus and all lots are free at the other CNM campuses. Students can also purchase permits for paid parking lots on Main Campus.
