The two-year program is designed to meet the requirements for an Associate of Arts in Communication from CNM and prepare a student to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at University of New Mexico and many other four-year institutions.
Students planning to transfer to UNM should keep in mind that the UNM Communication program offers multiple concentrations of study: Intercultural Communication, Interpersonal Communication, Mass Media, Critical Studies in Mass Media, Organizational Communication, and Public Communication.
