Room Requests for CNM Employees
If you need to reserve a classroom or auditorium for a meeting or event, use the Room Request for CNM Employees form.
How It Works
- Fill out the form completely.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email after submitting.
- A scheduler will contact you to confirm your reservation.
Important Notes
- Submit your request at least 24 hours in advance.
- For events outside regular hours, submit a Facility Usage Authorization Form to CNM Security.
- For small conference rooms, contact your division directly.
Classroom Change Requests
ADA Accommodations
Classroom accommodation requests for CNM faculty must be made through Human Resources.
Classroom accommodation requests for CNM students must be made through Accessibility Services.
Faculty who need to change their assigned classroom must submit a Classroom Change Request through their Academic School.
Timing
- Requests are processed after the term begins to reduce confusion for students.
- Room assignments are frozen from the start of registration through the 9th day of the term (prorated for shorter terms).
- Few classrooms are available at peak times (Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Available classrooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Process
- Submit the online form for your school.
- Changes are only allowed between similar room types (e.g., classroom to classroom).
- If approved, you’ll receive a confirmation and must post signs on both the old and new classroom doors.
- If denied, you'll receive a notification if the change cannot be made and the reason.
- Exceptions to this policy may be authorized by an associate dean for the school.
