Assessment Center
Limited, pre-scheduled, in-person testing is available at the Main, Montoya, Westside, Rio Rancho, and South Valley Campus Assessment Centers. Remote Accuplacer and other tests are available from home, Monday through Saturday. In order to test remotely, test takers will need a computer (desktop or laptop) with webcam and audio capabilities. If you do not have a computer or a webcam and would like to take the Accuplacer remotely, email us at testing@cnm.edu.

Testing Requirements
- CNM ID or government-issued photo ID
- All personal belongings, including purses and cell phones, will be collected prior to entering the testing room. We encourage you to leave all your belongings at home or secure them in your vehicle.
- Additional requirements may exist per exam

New Placement Tool
We have a new course placement tool called the Directed Self-Placement (DSP). The DSP can be taken from your cell phone or other online device and is an alternative to the Accuplacer reading test. Follow this link for more information and to take the DSP. Currently, math placement scores still require the math Accuplacer test.

CNM Library Test Preparation Database
To access the CNM Library Test Preparation Database, students must create an account on a CNM campus but can access it at home once the account is created. On the library page, select Exam Preparation under the choose a topic drop-down list.
