Article 31: Complete Agreement

Collective Bargaining Agreement for Security Employees

31.1

The parties agree that this is the complete and only agreement between the parties. Each party has negotiated on all issues identified for negotiations and such negotiations have led to this agreement. No additional negotiations will be conducted on any item, whether contained herein or not, except by mutual agreement of the parties. This agreement replaces any and all previous agreements between the parties.

31.2

The parties acknowledge that during the negotiations which resulted in this Agreement, each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to all proper subjects of collective bargaining and that all such subjects have been discussed and negotiated upon and agreements contained in this Agreement were arrived at after the free exercise of such rights and opportunities; there, the College and the Coalition, for the life of this Agreement, each voluntarily and unqualifiedly waives the right and each agrees that the other shall not be obligated to bargain or negotiate with respect to any subject matter not specifically referred to or covered in this Agreement, even though such subject matter may not have been within the knowledge or contemplation of either or both of the parties at the time they negotiated or signed the Agreement.

31.3

Prior to making significant changes in terms and conditions of employment not covered by this Agreement, the College will make a good faith effort to identify issues that warrant prior discussion with the Coalition and will bring those issues to the Labor Management Committee for discussion and input, as provided in Article 37 of this Agreement.

31.4

Issues may arise that have not been anticipated. The parties may agree to resolve the issue through an M.O.U. (Memorandum of Understanding).
