CNM is excited to welcome Amy Rademacher to the Presidential Fellow class for the 2023-2024 academic year. As a Presidential Fellow, she will take a year off from teaching classes and spend that year researching topics important to CNM’s future. At the end of the fellowship she will provide recommendations on how CNM should strategically progress in this area. A brief description of Amy’s research topic along with a short biography can be found below.

Student Information System Fellowship
As Presidential Fellow for the Workday Student Implementation, Amy will help represent Academic Affairs and contribute to a variety of conversations about business functions that affect faculty as a stakeholder group. She will focus specifically on how faculty will interface with the Student Information System and identify areas of change once the Workday Implementation is complete. She’ll also serve as a critical path of communication between project leadership and staff and faculty in Academic Affairs. In these roles, among other duties, Amy joins a team from across the college committed to streamlining processes where possible and simplifying interactions for staff, faculty, and students so that everyone can focus on student success.

About Amy: Amy is a graduate of CNM’s Surgical Technology (ST) Program and in 2003 was recruited as a part-time faculty member for the same program. Her passion for teaching and commitment to students led to her becoming the Surgical Technology Program Director in 2007. As the program director she helped develop the program into a highly successful AAS degree and later assisted in designing CNM’s state-of-the-art surgical technology laboratory. Amy was also instrumental in the creation and implementation of the Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) Program. Amy has served for numerous years on Chair Council and was the 2019 Distinguished Faculty recipient. As a Presidential Fellow, Amy is most excited to serve as the faculty lead in providing strategic leadership in support of faculty, students and the community.
