CNM hosted Native American Heritage Month throughout November and the festivities included a Native American career fair, a speaking engagement with John Herrington, the first Native American NASA astronaut, and a Native American Heritage Fest featuring local Indigenous bands and vendors. Hundreds of students, faculty, and staff attended in celebration of Native American culture and traditions, while also recognizing the continued struggle for inclusion and equality.
