Program Information

Nursing Assistant, Certificate of Achievement

Are you ready to start working with patients? If so, our Nursing Assistant program may be just what you are looking for! This program can be completed in just one semester. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will work directly with the nursing staff to provide direct patient care. CNAs work in hospitals, long-term care centers, private homes, and rehabilitation centers.

Complete Corequisites & Prerequisite

HLTH 1001 and HLTH 1003 are offered during certain periods of the year, including intersession. See the Schedule of Classes to find dates, times, and locations for class availability.

  • You can take HLTH 1001 or HLTH 1003 as a corequisite with NA 1020 or NA 1093.
  • You must complete HLTH 1001 or HLTH 1003 before taking NA 1190.
