Here are FIVE EASY STEPS to apply for financial aid:
| 1. | Go online to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. |

| 2. | Complete the FAFSA using the requested tax returns or income tax information. Call (505) 224-3090 for an appointment with EOC for assistance in completing your application |
| 3. | File electronically - Apply for a PIN online; submit your application online (click the image FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid above) using your PIN to sign your application electronically. |
| Students who file the application electronically must mail the signature page to the address designated. OR File by mail - Mail the completed paper application. You may request a paper application be sent to you by calling 1-800-4FEDAID. (Submitting by mail will increase processing time.) | |
| 4. | Within 2-4 weeks, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). |
| 5. | Check your my CNM account for further instructions. |
