Here are FIVE EASY STEPS to apply for financial aid:

1. Go online to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.
   
   

2. Complete the FAFSA using the requested tax returns or income tax information. Call (505) 224-3090 for an appointment with EOC for assistance in completing your application
3. File electronically - Apply for a PIN online; submit your application online (click the image FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid above) using your PIN to sign your application electronically.
   Students who file the application electronically must mail the signature page to the address designated.
   OR
   File by mail - Mail the completed paper application. You may request a paper application be sent to you by calling 1-800-4FEDAID. (Submitting by mail will increase processing time.)
4. Within 2-4 weeks, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR).
5. Check your my CNM account for further instructions.
