CNM has many scholarship opportunities for both new and ongoing students. One may be right for you! We want you to take a look at these opportunities. Scholarships are a source of additional money for school.

Molina Healthcare of New Mexico, Inc. Scholarship
(Deadline: Friday, June 7, 2019)

The Molina Healthcare of New Mexico, Inc. Scholarship is intended for students enrolled in the Community Health Workers Certificate and the Community Paramedic Certificate programs.

STEM/Engineering Success Scholarship

Students graduating from Math, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Earth and Planetary Science, or Physics in the Spring 2019 semester. Must have a 3.0 GPA or greater and have applied for Spring graduation. Apply for the STEM/Engineering Success Scholarship

Veterans Emergency Scholarship

The Veterans Emergency Scholarship is an emergency fund available for veteran students who are experiencing an unforeseen financial situation. The situation must be beyond the student's control and possibly prevent them from continuing their education. Students must be recommended by a staff member in Veteran Services or the Veteran Resource Center.

The Rust Opportunity Assistance Fund is an emergency fund available for students experiencing an unforeseen financial situation.

State of NM Scholarship Funds

Did you just graduate from a New Mexico high school? Or did you just pass a New Mexico high school equivalency credential exam?  We have scholarships just for you. 

Bridge to Success Scholarship - Closed for 2019-2020

The Bridge to Success Scholarship is offered by CNM to first-time Freshman who are in the process of qualifying for the Legislative Lottery Scholarship. The Bridge to Success Scholarship is offered only in fall and covers actual tuition charges and registration fee for the Lottery Qualifying Term.

NM Legislative Lottery Scholarship

The New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship encourages New Mexico high school graduates and New Mexico high school equivalency credential recipients to enroll full time and complete a two-year degree within four terms or a four year degree within eight terms.

CNM Graduation Incentive Scholarship

Students completing their degree program, but are not eligible for financial aid may qualify for the CNM Graduation Incentive Scholarship. Please contact Connect Services for information.  

CNM Suncat Scholars

The CNM Suncat Scholars program begins every Fall and supports first time college freshmen earn an associate's degree within two years.

New Student Orientation Leader Scholarship

New Student Orientation Leader Scholarship is a unique opportunity to welcome new students to CNM, gain leadership and teamwork experience, and earn a scholarship. 

Federal Opportunities

AmeriCorps

Funding for AmeriCorps members who have committed their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters and more who have earned education benefits to be used at two and four year institutions.

Children of Fallen Heroes Scholarship

The Children of Fallen Heroes Scholarship has been established by the U.S. Department of Education beginning with the 2018-2019 award year. A Pell Grant eligible student whose parent or guardian died in the line of duty while performing as a public safety officer is eligible to receive a maximum Pell Grant for the award year for which the determination of eligibility is made.
