Banner is an administrative software application developed specifically for higher education institutions. Banner maintains student, financial, and personnel data within five integrated systems: Finance, Student, Financial Aid, Human Resources, and General.
Access to Banner
- Install Banner 9 on your CNM system using Microsoft Software Center or contact the ITS Service Desk.
Access Requirements
Banner has sophisticated security measures to make sure that only authorized individuals have access to specific data. Banner access is granted based on your role at CNM. To request access to Banner, complete the Smartsheet form.
Off-Campus Access To Banner
Banner can be accessed off campus through VPN or VDI.
Support
- Tier One Support
- Consists of your Supervisor, ITS Lead, Business Analyst, Banner 9 Testers, or in the event an issue can't be resolved, consult with Ellucian Support.
- Tier Two Support
- Submit a request with the ITS Service Desk.
- Training
- Additional training can be accessed through Talent Management or consult your manager.
