Article 31: Educational Benefits
Full-Time Faculty CBA
31.1
The College shall continue to offer educational benefits to employees to support and encourage professional development and career advancement for employees.
31.2
Travel reimbursements shall be granted to employees in accordance with the College's Professional Development Plan in existence on September 1, 1996.
31.3
Full Time Faculty are eligible for educational benefits as authorized by the CNM policy contained in the Employee Handbook.
31.4
Full-time faculty who retire, but return to CNM as part-time instructors, are eligible for educational benefits authorized by the CNM policy contained in the Employee Handbook provided the part-time faculty member has a teaching assignment during the term in which the benefit is to be used, and provided the part-time faculty member is in compliance with the provisions contained in the part-time faculty collective bargaining agreement.
