CNM’s Radiologic Technology program (RADT) prepares you for a rewarding healthcare career where you’ll use advanced imaging equipment in hospitals, clinics, and free-standing imaging centers. As a radiologic technologist, you’ll work closely with a healthcare team in performing a wide variety of diagnostic and interventional therapy procedures.
Through hands-on training, you’ll build skills in radiographic exposure, anatomy, patient positioning, and the operation of specialized imaging equipment. You’ll also learn how to care for and support patients during procedures. This affordable, high-quality degree in Radiologic Technology meets the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accreditation requirements through CNM’s institutional accreditation by the NCACS-HLC.
After completing the RADT program, you’ll be eligible to take the ARRT certification exam and pursue a career in radiologic technology. While hospitals are the primary employers of radiologic technologists, job opportunities are growing in physician offices and outpatient clinics across the country. RADT graduates like Josh Lucero have used their training at CNM to step directly into careers in radiologic technology, applying their skills in real-world healthcare settings.
