Changes for 2017-2018 FAFSA
The 2017-2018 FAFSA will be available beginning on October 1, 2016. The new FAFSA for the 2017-2018 academic year will use tax information from the 2015 tax year, which are the taxes typically filed on or before April 18, 2016. There is no need to wait until after you file taxes like in previous years to fill out your 2017-2018 FAFSA.
It’s time to file your 2016-2017 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to increase your chances of being considered for priority awarding and allow time to plan for the 2016-2017 school year, which covers Fall 2016, Spring 2017, and Summer 2017.
If you've completed the FAFSA but did not request that a record be sent to CNM, you can still do so. Log into the FAFSA site, click "Add or Delete a School Code" in the FAFSA Follow-Up Step 3 section and add CNM's Federal School Code (004742).
Don’t miss out on scholarship. To be considered for scholarships complete your application now.
