CNM Offering 8-Week Fast-Track Courses This Summer

March 20, 2013 -- For the summer term, CNM will be offering about 20 percent of its course sections in an 8-week format, allowing students to reduce the length of a course by about a month and extend their summer break. A normal summer term course at CNM runs 12 weeks.
July 16, 2015

The 8-week classes, most of which will run from June 3-July 28, will still include the same amount of coursework as a regular 12-week class and more time will be spent in the classroom per week. But for students who are up for a slightly increased load of coursework per week in order to free up more of their summer, then an 8-week course might be the way to go.

If you’re a current student and you’re interested in registering for 8-week courses, look for “FTRK” in the “Part of Term” field when you search for summer term courses in myCNM. Summer term registration for continuing students begins April 1. New students can begin registering for the summer term on April 15.

8-week fast-track classes will be offered in the fields below. Be sure to check www.cnm.edu/schedules for the most updated list of course offerings – some courses could fill quickly and others could be canceled if there’s lack of demand.
