2015-2016 Scholarship Application

This application and your eligibility will be reviewed and matched to available scholarship funds including the CNM Legislative Scholarship and CNM General Scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded based on specific requirements and the availability of funds.

We encourage you to complete a CNM Scholarship Application and a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.

CNM Foundation Scholarships

CNM Foundation Scholarships are an additional source of scholarship opportunities that can assist students with educational expenses. Please check here for a current list of open scholarships, their requirements, and applications.

Rust Opportunity Assistance Fund

The Rust Opportunity Assistance Fund is an emergency fund available for students who are experiencing an unforeseen financial situation.

Mexican Consulate Scholarship

The Mexican Consulate Scholarship is intended to raise the level of education of Mexicans residing in New Mexico and attending CNM. Priority will be given to CNM students who demonstrate leadership and commitment to use their education to advance the Mexican culture and economy. 

Dual Credit Presidential Scholarship

The Aspire-Education & Community and the Robert and Mary Matteucci Dual Credit Presidential Scholarship are awarded to outstanding Dual Credit students.

CNM Suncat Scholars

The CNM Suncat Scholars program is intended to support CNM students achieving their academic goal of earning an associate's degree within two years. For more information.

State of NM Scholarship Funds

CNM offers New Mexico residents who have recently received their New Mexico high school diploma or New Mexico high school equivalency credential the Bridge to Success, Legislative Lottery, or the New Mexico Scholars scholarships.

Bridge to Success Scholarship

Covers actual fall tuition charges and the registration fee. There is no application, but there are deadlines that need to be met. For requirements, deadlines, and additional information, please read the information sheet.

Legislative Lottery Scholarship

Covers actual tuition for students who have met qualifying requirements during the first term after receipt of their diploma. There is no application. For requirements and additional information, please read the information sheet.

New Mexico Scholars

Covers actual tuition and additional costs for students with outstanding high school records or ACT scores. For requirements and additional information, please read the information sheet and application.
