CNM Offers Free Screening of “A Place at the Table” Documentary on Hunger

Oct. 16, 2013 -- CNM is hosting a free screening of the movie “A Place at the Table,” a documentary on hunger that features Jeff Bridges, founder of the End Hunger Network. The screening will take place Oct. 23 in Smith Brasher Hall, Room 100 from 4-7 p.m.

 

“A Place at the Table” is a documentary that investigates incidents of hunger experienced by millions of Americans and proposes solutions to the problem. Among those in the movie are Jeff Bridges and Tom Colicchio. Click here to learn more about the documentary.

Smith Brasher Hall is located on Main Campus at the southwest corner of Coal Ave. and University Blvd.

CNM’s Healthy Meals Fit for Life Program, CNM’s School of Business & Information Technology, Participant Media, Active Voice and Project Feed the Hood have partnered to offer this free screening.
