Learners are responsible to know the information contained in the CNM Catalog and HWPS/NPS Learner Handbooks. If there is a conflict between the information in the learner handbook and the CNM catalog, the catalog takes precedence.
HWPS and NPS have the right to make additions or deletions to the learner handbooks. Any substantial changes will be communicated to currently enrolled students via CNM email.

- Attendance Policy: HWPS is aligned with College policy on attendance. See course syllabi for specific course attendance policies. HWPS Faculty members are encouraged to communicate with learners prior to dropping them for non-attendance.

- Faculty Office Hours: Faculty member have office hours during which they are available to learners. Learners desiring to see a faculty member should contact the instructor for an appointment. Official faculty office hours can be found in myCNM or by reviewing your course syllabus.

- Latex Allergy: CNM endeavors to be a latex-free facility, but some latex-based supplies are still used at the clinical facilities. Learners and instructors, who have, or suspect they have, a latex allergy should inform the clinical coordinator, clinical instructors, and program directors.

- Hospital-Specific Compliance Requirement: Depending on what program learners will complete, there are requirements specific to these facilities. Some require first-day orientations, computer-based training (CBT), or electronic medical record computer training (e.g. ABQ Health Partners, Lovelace Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital, UNMH, VA).
