The application process below is for incoming freshmen students.

Apply to CNM

Once you fill out an online application, you can submit your ACT, SAT, or Accuplacer scores to Admissions for course placement.

You can set up your myCNM account using the ID number assigned to you at the end of the application process.

Apply for Financial Aid

If you are planning on applying for Financial Aid, you should complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Financial Aid & Scholarship Services can help you apply for financial aid.

Meet with an Academic Advisor

You can meet with an advisor in person, by email, through online chat, or over the phone.

New Student Orientation

Complete your New Student Orientation. The orientation will get you started on your college career and help you understand what to expect as a new student.

Bridge to Success Scholarship

All beginning freshmen hoping to receive the Bridge to Success Scholarship must complete their online application and financial aid paperwork by May 1 and sign up to attend an in-person New Student Orientation.

Register for Classes

Check the class offerings for the upcoming term in the schedule of classes. When you're ready, register for classes.
